I was reminded of this recently, talking with one of my kids.
They didn’t want advice.
They didn’t need solutions.
They just needed someone to listen.
Some of the best leadership moments I’ve seen didn’t come from what was said…
They came from what was heard.
In a world full of so much noise, listening might be the most underrated leadership skills we have.

Start by giving them your full attention.
Not while replying to emails.
Not while texting.
Not half-listening in a rush between meetings.
Just listen....fully.
